Daniel 11 pt. 4: The Warfare of Israel (America’s Desolation Verses 41-43)

The King of the north, that is the Papal power, shall enter into the glorious land. First, the question must be asked, what is the “glorious land”? It cannot be Jerusalem, as it was in Daniel 11:16, as probation had closed on the Jewish nation for rebellion towards God, as foretold in Daniel 9:24-27. Christ spoke of this, when He addressed the chief priests and Pharisees, saying “Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.” (Matthew 21:43)
The glorious land also was not the land of the other ten tribes of Israel surrounding Jerusalem, because their land was lost in 723BC. However, when Israel lost their land, seven times were passed over them according to the judgment of Leviticus 26, where “they that hate you shall reign over you”. We also saw how they would be cast into “another land”, but the God of heaven would turn the curse into a blessing for spiritual Israel. Thus we see the rising of the United States of America, “coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb” (Rev. 13:11). These two lamblike horns are the Declaration of Independance (1776), and the Constitution of the United States (1787). Lamblike because they enshrined the protection of Christians from oppression.
As the tribes of Israel were divided into the northern ten tribes and the southern two tribes, each had their appointed king. The northern tribe of Israel a king stood up, called Manehem, which was the first time Assyria came against the land of Israel; to “confirm the kingdom in his hand” so that it was not lost to Assyria, Manehem paid tribute to Pul, king of Assyria. When Pekah, king of Israel stood up to reign, he conspired with Rezin, king of Syria, to fight against the king of Assyria, but this device was a failure, and Syria became a vassal, and half of the ten tribes were carried away from Israel, and the land was seized in 733BC; from this time forward, Israel had lost their independence from the oppression of the heathen. Only eleven years later however, “shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.” (Hosea 10:15) This took place in 722BC, “in the ninth year of Hosea, the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria.” (2 Kings 17:6) Thus we see Israel losing the kingdom in two distinctive periods, eleven years apart from each other.
When America came up prophetically in Revelation 13 establishing it’s two lamblike horns, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States, these documents were signed eleven years apart from each other. Thus it was given as a haven from oppression for spiritual Israel at “the time of the end”; or the end of the seven times. It is the United States of America that constitutes the glorious land. Thus, we see that the northern tribes of Israel have a special inheritance given by the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel.
In Revelation 13, we see the lamblike beast coming up out of the earth. Similar to Adam who was created, and newly established out of the dust of the earth, this beast represents a new kingdom arising. Here is given to the church who endured the persecutions of the dark ages of Popery a time of peace and prosperity. More than this, when Jerusalem was made the glorious land for the Israelites, it was after the church was nourished with manna for 40 years in the wilderness. In like manner, the Scripture tells us that when the church, represented by a woman in Bible prophecy (Jer. 6:2) was persecuted, that she goes “into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and a half a time…” and then after this, “the earth came to the help of the woman, and the earth opened it’s mouth and swallowed the river that the dragon had poured from his mouth.” What was the earth? It was the Republic of the United States which sheltered the church from persecution.
As physical Israel went into the wilderness, was nourished for forty years, and went into the glorious land of Jerusalem, even so, spiritual Israel goes into the wilderness, called “her place”, was nourished for 3.5 times, and then went into the glorious land of America. Now, note this point with care. The persecution of the church for 3.5 times is not speaking of the 1260 years of pagan persecution on Israel, because at the end of this period, no respite from the persecuting power of Satan was offered. But we do see the respite offered to spiritual Israel after the 3.5 times (1260 years) of papal persecution in the late 1700’s.
Israel were slaves and persecuted by the Pharaoh of Egypt, and went out of Egypt into the wilderness to no longer suffer persecution, the Most High commanded His church not to oppress the strangers in the glorious land. Even so it was when Roman-European empirical powers dealt with the church, and He sheltered them from persecution in the mountainous regions of the alps, finally bringing them to the glorious land where the statute of not oppressing strangers was enshrined in the two lamblike horns.
In fact, the commandment was very explicit in how the foreigner who came to settle into their land was to be treated if he respected the laws of the land: “And remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the LORD your God brought you out from there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm…” (Deut. 5:15) “Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt…Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.”
(Exodus 22:21, 23:9)
“Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.”
(Deuteronomy 10:19)
“And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.”
(Leviticus 19:33-34)

Lastly, one final point may suffice to show that the glorious land spoken of here is the United States. “I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.” (Exodus 3:8) In fact, the Scripture indicates that “the land…flowing with milk and honey” is “the glory of all lands” (Ezekiel 20:6,15) Thus it was that Jerusalem was blessed with great prosperity for upholding and protecting the principles of the law, even as the United States in a like-manner was to guard His commandment-keeping people free from oppression. Again and again, we may demonstrate that the glorious land is the United States of America, wonderfully paralleling the history the inheritance of the land of Canaan.

PAPAL ENTRANCE INTO AMERICA

In connection with the Papacy entering “like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships”, the Papal power enters into the glorious land of America. It is evident that the Papacy has done this in a variety of ways, as was spoken of in the last section; through the Jesuit order, through diplomatic ties, and also through the alliance of the United States with the Pope in bringing down the southern power of athiestic communism in Russia. But a greater manifestation of the Papal power takes place.
We are told by Christ “when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:”
(Mark 13:14)
This prophecy had been twice fulfilled. What is the abomination that makes desolate? It is the sign signifying the desolation of God’s presence, for it says in Daniel 9:27, “for the overspreading of abominations, he shall make it desolate.” When Christ declared the seemingly innumerable sins, against the privileges and opportunities conferred upon the chosen people in Matthew 23, He departed from the temple, declaring, “Behold, your house is left unto you desolate…and Jesus went out, and departed from the temple.” (Matthew 23:38,41) He then declared how the glorious land would be surrounded by armies and that the temple would be overthrown that “there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down”; Roman standards would be erected symbolizing that the restraining presence of God was removed. This was the sure result of apostasy.
In like manner, when for 360 years, the church imagined herself to be in league with the emperor for the furtherance of the Christian faith, these designs were fulfilled under the conversion of Clovis to Roman Catholicism and Justinian’s siege against Christians. Speaking of how these kings would stand for the Papal power, the Scripture declares that “arms shall stand on his (the Papacy’s) part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.” State power and armies exercised the authority of an apostate church which had cast the law of God behind it’s back, and declared itself to sit on the seat of divine authority as the “vicar of Christ”, possessing authority over the kings of the earth, and thereby justifying the enforcement of apostasy, and “made war with the saints and prevailed against them” (Daniel 7:21).
By professing to honor the blood of the Lamb of God, he professed the faith of the heavenly Sanctuary, which is Christianity. But by professing this blood, but continuing to practice abomination and forcing the saints of God to do likewise, and sin against God and conscience, they “pollute the sanctuary of strength”. Thus, paganism literally surrounded the glorious land of Jerusalem for three and a half years, and being forewarned for seven years beforehand. Papalism then erected pagan Christianity and with armies, spiritually surrounded the saints who represented the kingdom of heaven “Jerusalem above” and it’s sanctuary for three and a half prophetic years, of which the oppression began seven prophetic years beforehand.
Yet what do we have in America? Both Papalism and an entering into of the glorious land is especially noted in the Scripture of truth. Such a sign witnessed within America as this must necessarily be a great “whirlwind” prophetic event signifying some startling herald of judgment for “the glory of all lands.” As America signifies the land of restored inheritance to the northern kingdoms of Israel, what sign could be more startling than “the King of the North” arising to “stand where it ought not” in the northern kingdom of spiritual Israel?
And such an event would have to excel diplomacy between two executive offices of country, or United States presidents visiting the Vatican, or anything that has previously been revealed.

SIGNS IN THE HEAVENS

The Scripture tells us before the return of Christ, great signs in the heavens shall be witnessed: “And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.”
(Joel 2:30-31)

THE PAPAL JESUIT

In the years 2014 and 2015, these things took on a more striking significance upon the sacred feast days of the calendar which God ordained at creation. Four blood moons, called a tetrad, fell upon the holy sabbath times of the Spring and Fall feasts marked out in the Scriptures. In between the years, on the vernal equinox of March 20th, 2015, called the revolution (of the sun) in the Scriptures, marked the new year of the Biblical calendar. On this date, a solar eclipse occurred, foretelling a great event was to occur within that year. While 2014 and 2015 had many events which brought a great prophetic shift, the larger significance was to occur near the end of the year 2015, when the Jesuit Pope would visit America.
Some of the stronger quotes exposing the Jesuit order were in the context of their relation to the United States and it’s form of government. French statesmen and general Marquis de LaFayette said “It is my opinion that if the liberties of this country – the United States of America – are destroyed, it will be by the subtlety of the Roman Catholic Jesuit priests, for they are the most crafty, dangerous enemies to civil and religious liberty. They have instigated most of the wars of Europe.” So aware of the dangers of the Jesuits (whose society had been restored by a Papal bull in 1814), the second president of the United States wrote a four-volume history on them, exposing them and citing many quotations from “unquestionable authorities.” John Adams, in his letter to Thomas Jefferson, said “I do not like the appearance of the Jesuits. If ever there was a body of men who merited eternal damnation on earth and in hell, it is this Society…Nevertheless, we are compelled by our system of religious toleration to offer them an asylum but if they do not put our elections to the test, it would be a wonder.” In response, Jefferson, who became the third president of the United States responded “Like you, I dislike their restoration; because it marks a retrograde step from light to darkness.” And in a more prophetic irony, Abraham Lincoln said “I do not pretend to be a prophet. But though not a prophet, I see a very dark cloud on our horizon. And that dark cloud is coming from Rome. It is filled with tears of blood. It will rise and increase till its flanks will be torn by a flash of lightning, followed by a fearful peal of thunder. Then a cyclone, such as the world has never seen, will pass over this country, spreading ruin and desolation from north to south… Neither I nor you, but our children, will see those things.”
America was not ignorant of the devices of the Jesuit Order. More startling was the accuracy with which President Lincoln spoke. It was when the Pope resigned in 2013 that a flash of lightning struck the Vatican, and was reported throughout the world. Next followed the election of the first Jesuit Pope. Then his entry into America like a “whirlwind” in the season of the final blood moon of 2015 as a sign of “the abomination of desolation” in “the north” until it reaches “the south”. One would think that the president had read Daniel 11’s final verses with a distinct understanding of the events which were to take place.
How exactly did he come in to the United States? The largest news channels and publishers worldwide worded it in a manner readily apparent to all: Fox News and CNN reported of “Pope Francis’ whirlwind tour through…the United States begins Saturday, September 19th” Then CBS: “Pope Francis’ whirlwind tour of New York City came to an end…”; “Pontiff endears himself to the world in global whirlwind tour”, New York times called it his “whirlwind United States tour”, and Time Magazine titled it “his whirlwind tour of the U.S.”, while Wallstreet Journal also called it “a Whirlwind Tour”.
The Jesuit Pope came into America “like a whirlwind” from September 23-25th meeting with the president of the Executive branch of government on the first day, whose duty is to enforce the laws of the land. The following day, he addressed a joint-session of the Legislative branch of the United States Congress, where the laws of the land are presented and passed. And in the final day, he addressed the largest assembly of countries ever gathered together in common cause at the United Nations.

THE DAY OF JUDGMENT

Of these three events, all significant, the last two were the most notable. The reason for this is that the Most High God does nothing of significance unless it is clearly and evidently revealed to His people beforehand. While the final blood moon was about a week away, the divinely appointed calendar has a day before it’s Fall festival signifying the judgment fell the very next day, called “The Day of atonement”.
In Daniel 8, we saw that Christ as our High Priest has entered into the work of judgment, where “the judgment was set, and the books were opened” in 1844 on the Day of atonement, October 22, 1844. The prophetic Day of Atonement was called in the Scriptures “the Hour of His judgment” (Revelation 14:6). Anciently, it was understood that if a man did not repent of the sins which he committed in the past year, the blood of the atonement would not benefit him, and he was counted as “cut off from amongst his people”, not receiving the mercy of God, and was regarded as being blotted out of the book of life in heaven. If he died before this time, his case was still pending on the Day of atonement, where mercy was executed in a definite manner for all for the sins committed in the past year. Likewise, in the antitype, Christ went into the Holy of holies and began the judgment on the dead who had faith in His blood, having repented of their sins and died in faith. Holy angels were to be witnesses of the books, that they might see the justice in who God was to bring into the heavenly courts at the resurrection from the dead. But more significantly, after the cases of the dead were brought into review before the heavenly host, the judgment of the living was to take place. Nations, like the nations of old of Sodom and Gomorrah, would go into review to determine their cases.

Thus, it was the Day of judgment that the Pope stood in the Legislative branch of the United States to address the representatives of the nation who frame the laws. Startling scene! The King of the North addressing the State power of the northern kingdom of Israel on such a prophetically significant day! It is that same King of the North that apostatized from the truth; which “thinks to change [the Most High’s] times and laws” (Dan. 7:25), which honors Sunday, blasphemed the name of God, claims to sit on the throne of Christ, venerates dead saints, and puts to death the living saints of God! This authority of the Papacy has never been renounced; as we see by her vigorous efforts to regain state power. It was to escape this oppressive doctrine of the Papal temporal power (wielding political authority) that the United States was raised up!
But the Scripture foretells that “the deadly wound was healed, and all the world wondered after the beast”. This includes the Lamblike beast, who arose after the Papal power was slain by the sword and went into captivity (Rev. 13:10-11). Of this kingdom, the Scripture tells us “And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and all that dwell therein to worship the first beast (the Papal power) whose deadly wound was healed.” (Rev. 13:13) We are told that America, the glorious land, would especially honor the Papacy after his power was restored. After the King of the south was put down to a large degree in communism, the secular power of athiesm’s hold was beginning to unravel, as the Papal king of the north grew progressively stronger.
Yet how could America commit such treason to go against it’s lamblike principles of independence and freedom from priestly intolerance and kingly oppression? Because it has forgotten what the Papacy, and the Jesuits most notably, have always stood for. America was called the “glorious land” because it was a haven for the church to dwell in the land safely at “the time of the end”. It was Protestantism which mapped out the course against priestly intolerance and kingly oppression in Europe, paving the way for liberty of conscience in the United States. James Madison, known as “the Father of the Constitution”, made reference to this from Luther’s doctrine of the two kingdoms requiring separation, church and state, claiming this as America’s system of government. “It illustrates the excellence of a system which, by a due distinction, to which the genius and courage of Luther led the way, between what is due to Caesar and what is due God, best promotes the discharge of both obligations. The experience of the United States is a happy disproof of the error so long rooted in the unenlightened minds of well-meaning Christians, as well as in the corrupt hearts of persecuting usurpers, that without a legal incorporation of religious and civil polity, neither could be supported. A mutual independence is found most friendly to practical Religion, to social harmony, and to political prosperity.” (J. Madison to F.L. Schaeffer, 1821) Thus, the lamblike principles are principles of Protestantism.

KING OF THE NORTHERN TRIBES

It needs to be mentioned that those who had inherited the land of America consisted of the spiritual ten tribes of Israel; it also should be mentioned that although this is spiritual Israel, this is who God has called them to be if they walk in His covenant; so long as there is rebellion, God cannot bless the people, but calls them to recognize their identity. It was professed Christianity which had the glorious honors of receiving the land, not excepting the members of the Roman Catholic church. But it was Protestantism chiefly which erected a standard of freedom and independance. The Reformation church, as noted in the last article, was called the “Sardis” era. The great fault with these churches were there violent rejection and scoffing at the 1844 message of the Day of atonement after proclaiming the date of 1844 but misunderstanding the event which Scripture said was to occur was “the Sanctuary will be cleansed” which they mistakenly believed would be the return of Christ. Christ therefore, called the Protestant churches to repent of there casting off of 1844, or else a great woe would result: “Remember therefore how you have received and heard and hold fast, and repent. If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come upon you.” (Rev. 3:3) They had rejected “the hour of His judgment”, which would cause them to lose sight of the preparation necessary for the coming of Christ, so that they would “not know what hour” His appearing would be. These churches, like the ten tribes who were ennumerated with Jeroboam, a son of Joseph, who was made their king, were ennumerated with the Papacy. Unlike the immediate reign of Jeroboam over the ten tribes, the natural outworkings of rejecting light from heaven would manifest itself in the various churches. Worldliness entered, false doctrine and prophecy with determined efforts to justify it’s inherited heathen doctrines from the Bible, and spiritual manifestations, bringing chaos and confusion, making the church a habitation of demons. It was the anniversary of this event that was carried in the America’s bosom September 24th, 2015. But that these events are connected, 1844 and 2015 in respect to the judgment hour, and what the rejection of the first leads to in respect to the other will be the burden of the next few points to be made.
After the first blood moon in 2014, all of this departure from the Spirit of truth came to it’s logical end. At the Kenneth Copeland Leadership Conference, a message came that was met with eager attention from all, and caused waves in Protestantism, heralding it’s dissolution into the trashheap of history as far as these church leaders were concerned. Anglican Bishop Tony Palmer had claimed to come “in the Spirit of Elijah” to turn the hearts of the churches back to Catholicism, and away from Protestantism. Then, with cheers from the leaders representing large congregations, he declared “Luther’s protest is over. And if Luther’s protest is over, how can there be a Protestant church? Maybe now we are all Catholics again!…The protest is over…”. It happened that the Anglican bishop made a connection between Kenneth Copeland and Pope Francis, who he knew before he was Pope, and brought to the leadership conference a video appeal from the Pope for unity as a family of Israel. He then likened himself to Joseph, who was sold by his brothers into Egyptian captivity. Yet the analogy is strikingly right, with spiritual Egypt being the king of the south, and going into captivity. “Families who come together and families who separate themselves. We are kind of…separated. I am nostalgic (yearning), that this separation comes to an end and gives us communion that the Holy Scripture speaks of when Joseph’s brothers began to starve from hunger. They went to Egypt, to buy, so that they could eat. They went to buy. They had money. But they couldn’t eat the money. But there, they found something more than food, they found their brother… We must cry together like Joseph did. These tears will unite us…”
To like the Roman Catholics to the tribe of Joseph in the ten tribes of Israel is not just a coincidental parallel as we will see more shortly. It was Joseph who was counted as having the rights of the firstborn amongst the northern tribes of Israel. “And they shall divide it into seven parts: Judah shall abide in their coast on the south, and the house of Joseph shall abide in their coasts on the north.”
(Joshua 18:5)
“Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but, forasmuch as he defiled his father’s bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright. For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph’s:) ”
(1 Chronicles 5:1-2)

From Judah would come “the Chief Ruler”, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah: the Messiah who would reign over Israel. But Joseph received the pre-eminence, and was counted as the eldest and first amongst the tribes. As such, it was in Judah that the king of Judah, David, would reign on the throne that Messiah will one day reign upon. But when the southern and northern kingdom was divided because of apostasy, it was to Joseph’s seed, Ephraim, that Jeroboam was made king over the ten tribes until they were dispersed for rejecting the prophets.

RENOUNCING THE PROTEST AGAINST THE NORTHERN KING

When it was said by the Anglican bishop “The protest is over…” it was a call to unite with Joseph in Egypt as one Catholic family of tribes, where Joseph would inevitably be the head. This success swept the Protestant community, and many began to renounce Protestantism for the defacto unity with the Pope. However, to renounce the protest is to renounce the principles for which the protest stands. To unite with Catholicism is to consent to her abuses as amenable. Protestantism renounced is religious freedom renounced. Catholicism consented to leads to kingly oppression resurrected. In 2014, just after the first blood moon, the spiritual northern tribes of Israel honored the king of the north, a spiritual Jeroboam, and in 2015, just before the last blood moon, the glorious land, called the lamblike beast, honored the first beast before it.
Protestant America ushered in the Papal power, signalling the apostasy in spiritual Israel, and signifying the abomination of desolation in America. The Pope stood where it ought not, in a Protestant government; and received with great favor, to such an extent as to affect the legislators of the United States. That this took place on the Day of atonement, the anniversary of 1844 is not at all a coincidence; for one signifies the beginning of the judgment of the dead, and the other indicates that America, the glorious land, has come to the bar of judgment in the heavenly courts.
From this point forward in the prophecy of Daniel 11, classified under the King of the north’s power is apostate Protestantism. The power that the Papal Northern King exercised in Europe, his principles shall be honored and exercised by the Protestant northern tribes in America; while America is the glorious land, when it fails to walk in it’s glory, the lamblike features which gave it prosperity and power shall cease, and this development of national apostasy will wax stronger until it leads to national ruin, as with Jerusalem of old.
The era of spiritual Jeroboam as king over Israel has, since 2014-2015 has effectually begun, and waxed stronger amongst the churches. Like when Clovis was converted to Catholicism, and soon after made war, henceforth, rapid events begin to fulfill, bringing the Papal power back to political supremacy, the Protestant denominations renouncing the protest and embracing Catholicism, and Protestantism uniting with America in exercising state power. Such is the results when the restraining power of Christ’s Spirit is removed from the hearts of the rejectors of His mercy and truth.
“…these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.” The Northern king shall not extend his hand over all the nations in this kingly (and apostate) inheritance. When the tribes came into the glorious land of Canaan (Jerusalem and it’s surrounding cities), Moses instructed them that they were not to touch three countries which were not given them to inherit. “And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau (Edomites), which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore: Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession…distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession…nd when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession. ” (Deuteronomy 2:4-5,9,19 )

When the King of the north is taking possession of the lands, and chiefly the glorious land of America in his conquest to have all under his apostate banner, some countries, whose cup of iniquity is not full before the Lord (Gen. 15:16), shall be as “cities of refuge” which the Lord Himself shall choose to disclose at their proper times to the saints. It was only when iniquity was full that the country was delivered into the hands of the possessors. Even so, in Daniel 8:23-25, we’re told, “And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce counterance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up (reign). And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully and shall prosper and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. And through his policy (law) also he shall cause devices to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many…”

The power of even the most southern countries, communistic/atheistic in their representation, will fall into the hands of the Papal power. To have power over the secular powers of spiritual Egypt, shows the immense authority that the King of the north has gathered to himself. He will have power in Egypt; but to exercise the powers of Egypt means to exercise the power which crucified Christ. “And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.”
(Revelation 11:8)
It also means to represent the nation Sodom, that came up wickedly before the Most High in the investigative judgment. These are the countries which have encroached upon the freedoms of religion, but also honor homosexual marriage, and every other base practice that secularism holds in it’s train. Thus by the Protestants clasping the hand of the Papal power, and as they reach across the abyss to grasp at the power of the secular state, there is effectually a uniting with worldlings which have no regard for the Scriptures, nor do they know the cross (spiritualism); under this threefold union, persecution shall be revived on the earth.

Here is a sign of signification to us. Anciently, when the king of Assyria, who had taken captive Israel and Judah for the beginning of the seven times of judgment, was prophesied to overcome Egypt and Ethiopia as his prisoners. Assyria was the king of the north from Jerusalem; Egypt was south, and it was foretold that this king of the north, “the king of Assyria shall lead away the Egyptian prisoners, and the Ethiopians captive, young and old, naked and barefoot…” It was expected by the smaller countries that they could run to Egypt and Ethiopia for protection with their riches and great army, yet they would fall into the hand of the king of the north. More than this, when Babylon, called “the northern country” (Jer. 46:10), Egypt made it’s stand against Babylon when Jerusalem was forced to surrender to Nebuchadnezzar II. When Egypt made war with the Babylonian king of the north, Libya and Ethiopia came with horses, chariots, and mighty men to resist the king of the northern country (Jer. 46:9), but it was to no avail and they were given into his hand. Babylon’s “sword shall devour, and it shall be satisfied, and made drunk with their blood.”

JOSEPH’S POWER OVER EGYPT THAT NO MAN MIGHT BUY OR SELL

In like manner, the Papal king shall overtake young and old, free and bound, rich and poor of the most secular countries, and they shall not escape. Though, like with France and Russia, there is resistance, the sword of the Papal power will demand conformity to the apostate religion of Catholic and Protestant alike or killed. Egypt shall give “power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things”; Egypt, while it denotes prophetically the atheistic/communistic/secular powers who are enemies of the cross of Christ, the prophetic identity of the Pharaoh according to Scripture is even more striking. “Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lies in the midst of his rivers, which has said, My river is mine, and I’ve made it for myself.” (Ezekiel 29:3) The Pharaoh is called “the great dragon”; prophetically the book of Revelation speaks of the dragon in two ways: (1) Satan and his fallen angels **Revelation 12:9. (2) The kingdoms under Satan’s explicit control to do his bidding on the earth.
Thus it was that the Papal beast who received the deadly wound in 1798 had received “his power, and his seat, and great authority” from the dragon. (Revelation 13:2) Thus symbolizing how Empirical Rome gave the Roman state to be under the control of the Papacy, the king of the north in 538AD.
But now, it’s wound is healed, and the entire world on the side of the Papacy, Protestants included, the dragon shall yield to the apostate power, and give full reigns over the economy of buying and selling.
This also happened in Egypt. A great famine came into the land and only in Egypt could bread be found because of the foreknowledge of Joseph regarding the famine. “And when all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to Pharaoh for bread: and Pharaoh said unto all the Egyptians, Go unto Joseph; what he says to you, that do…And Joseph opened all the storehouses, and sold unto the Egyptians; and the famine waxed sore in the land of Egypt. And all countries came into Egypt to Joseph for to buy…” (Gen. 41:55-57) Joseph was given power over all the economy of Egypt. To receive bread, you had to buy from him.
And the Jesuit Pope likened himself to Joseph, which prophetically is exactly what he represents; the apostate tribe of Joseph. As Joseph had married the daughter of a heathen priest, even so, the early Christian church married itself to paganism, imbibing it’s customs and idols under a profession of Christianity. As Joseph was sold by his brothers; so the other Protestant churches sought to cast off unbiblical Papal policy. And as Joseph went into the southern country of Egypt as captive. The Papal power was prophesied to “go into captivity” under the king of the south, spiritual Egypt.

A BETTER GLORIOUS LAND: THE FINAL DELIVERANCE

And lastly, as Joseph foreknew by the revelation of God, does not the Jesuit Pope know the devices which the Jesuits have long laid out to catch the world in it’s snare? This being led into Egypt led to the Israelites going into Egyptian captivity from which they needed to be delivered to go to the glorious land, Canaan. This happened to Europe in the oppression of the Papacy, from which they needed to be delivered to go to the glorious land, America. But when America begins to follow the course of old Europe in exercising the oppressive power of the Papacy, a new deliverance of God’s people will be required; a calling out from the northern kingdoms shall take place on a worldwide scale that we may enter into the glorious land in heavenly places, the place prepared for us by God, “a city…whose Builder and Maker is God” (Heb. 11:10)
Likewise, the son of Joseph, being Jeroboam, had the kingship over the ten tribes, the Papal priesthood has authority over the churches. “And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in Judah, and he offered upon the altar…even in the month which he had devised of his own heart, and ordained a feast unto the children of Israel.” (1 Kings 12:32-33) Jeroboam had it in his heart to “think to change times and laws” and had authority to “ordain a feast” for all of Israel to observe on the month after “the feast that is in Judah” on the seventh month. The Papal power has clearly changed the divine calendar, and the appointed times of worship ordained in creation and redemption by Jehovah. Specifically, he has set aside the seventh-day Sabbath, and commands the Christian world to observe Sunday, the day after the Sabbath, the first day of the week.
This law of spiritual Jeroboam, of Joseph, will be made compulsory by the apostate “tribes of Israel” for any who would buy or sell.

THE FINAL SCENES ARE RAPIDLY FULFILLING

The once-glorious land of America is even now under the influence of apostate Protestantism under the presidency of Donald J. Trump. These “faith advisors” to the president seem to have no trouble in exercising the authority of the church over the state, and thereby utilizing the state power to their own ends. Of America’s authority being exercised, the lamblike beast will “speak as a dragon”, as Pharoah, “saying to them that dwell on the earth that they should make image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.” (Rev. 13:14) Thus, they will make an image to the Papal beast, whose deadly wound was healed, of church & state union. Thus does it speak as a dragon; the lamblike church will utilize dragonlike force under the threat of no longer being able to buy or sell, which is the very authority under the King of the north. “And he (Apostate-Protestant America) causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
(Revelation 13:16-17)
As spiritual Egypt confers this honor upon the Papal King of the north, every other country shall follow in the steps of Egypt; it is thus that “the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.”
