Notre-Dame is one of Paris, France’s most famous landmarks, drawing about 13 million visitors a year. But now it was “burnt with fire” of Biblical proportions. Smoke ascending from the Cathedral’s spire caused lamentation throughout the earth from Catholics and non-Catholics alike were heard. Few realize just how prophetic the event was which the world was witnessing. But before that, let’s look at a few historical facts regarding this monolithic monument of Catholic dominion.

The Cathedral of Notre-Dame of Paris was built on a site which is believed to have been occupied by a pagan temple. In 1793, during the French Revolution, the Cathedral was destroyed and ransacked. What remained of it was rededicated to the atheistic Cult of Reason and the Cult of the Supreme Being. This atheistic powerhouse was prophesied as the beast from the bottomless pit, a tyrannical power of persecution for 3.5 years, mentioned of in Revelation 11. Following this takeover of secular atheism, Bibles were burnt en masse. To secular atheism, it may be truly said that Notre Dame had fallen the first time.

It was popery that had begun the work which atheism was completing. The policy of Rome had wrought out those conditions, social, political, and religious, that were hurrying France on to ruin. Writers, in referring to the horrors of the Revolution, say that these excesses are to be charged upon the throne and the church. For a time the Goddess of Liberty replaced the Virgin Mary on several altars. This was the chief influence leading to the deadly wound of the beast of Revelation 13, where Catholicism’s political dominion over Europe was put down.

Therefore, preceding the judgment of the great prophetic Babylon, there was a great judgment which befell the Notre Dame of Paris, which signified the Catholic heart of Medieval Europe, and the great bastion of tyranny which France was in the name of the Catholic church.

MOTHER HARLOT: HABITATION OF DEVILS

In the prophecies of Revelation’s seventeenth and eighteenth chapter, the church clothed in scarlet, purple, fine linen, and gold is depicted as a “mother of harlots”, who has made “fornication with the kings of the earth”. She “made all nations to drink the cup of the filthiness of her fornication”. Her judgment comes as she is “burnt with fire”, and the kings of the earth lament the smoke of her burning, and the merchants of the earth mourn because of her.

All of these depictions of Babylon’s judgment have been seen in the judgment of Notre Dame. Notre Dame means “Our Lady” in French, or commonly known as “Our Mother”. A fitting image of the mother motif of the seventeenth of Revelation. The archbishop of France, ordained by Pope Francis, is arrayed in scarlet, purple, fine linen and gold when in his priestly vestments. Like the beast in Revelation 13, it was judged through the French powers of atheism, but “it’s deadly wound was healed”. In the 1790s, Notre-Dame suffered desecration during the French Revolution when much of its religious imagery was damaged or destroyed. In 1844, in the commencement year of the great judgment hour, fifty-six of the devil-like chimeras and unclean birds and beasts were stationed in their habitations on the peak of the building. This is especially the depiction given when Babylon falls to the burning flames: “And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.” (Revelation 18:2)

THE JUDGMENT SCENE

She is burned with fire and lamented, as men see her smoke rising. “This belonged to the whole world, and now it is disappearing,” one said. As the crowd looked on, Angelique de Almeida, 32, watched through tears. “We are going to lose her, everything is up in flames,” she said. “We lose this, we lose Paris. It is apocalyptic. And this is the Holy Week.”

It was upon the back of the pagan traditions Eastertide, that this judgment befell her. And it is indeed apocalyptic. Indeed, it was three and a half years ago that Paris, France took a step under the blessing of the Pope of Rome which would change the course of earth’s history as we know it. During the Pope’s visit to America, “his whirlwind tour”, he led out in the United Nations Sustainable Development agenda. This followed the Day of Atonement on September, 25th, 2015. The Pope, on the same day, met with false religions at the site of the One World Trade Center, a fitting motif of the Tower of Babel, calling them to be “prophets of peace”. Thus, it was prophetic Babylon, the mother church, leading in the United Nations agenda. This agenda was a process of overriding the sovereignty of nations through the implementation of enforceable international law. For the first time, the nations agreed to implement enforceable laws agreed upon by all nations. Paris, France had been one of the most vigorous to implement these steps, even having a Sunday ban for driving vehicles one per month, and issuing a carbon tax, which led to great riots. In this way, Paris, France is a fitting symbol of the judgment which shall befall all nations for making them drunk with Papal doctrines when the Sunday crisis is enforced worldwide. We’re told she was burnt with fire “because all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.” (Revelation 18:3) The manner in which all nations shall be made drunk is through the United Nations agenda ratified in Paris, France, which was agreed upon on Sept. 25th, 2015. Understand therefore, and be not ignorant, regarding the fate of prophetic Babylon which is witnessed before our eyes.

Now, three and a half years later, approximately 1283 days later, the bastion of medieval Catholicism, the Notre Dame “Our Mother”, is up in flames. She is fallen again as depicted in Revelation 18, which said “in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.” (Rev. 18:6)

KINGS OF THE EARTH LAMENT

“And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.” French president Emmanuel Macron cancelled a planned speech to the nation as a result of the fire, and tweeted: “Like all our compatriots, I am sad this evening to see this part of all of us burn,” US president Donald Trump tweeted his reaction”So horrible to watch the massive fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.” First Lady Melania Trump tweeted: “My heart breaks for the people of Paris after seeing the fire at Notre Dame Cathedral.” Nicola Sturgeon, the First Minister of Scotland, wrote: This is truly devastating. What a cultural tragedy, not just for Paris and France, but for the world. And Donald Tusk, the president of the European Council, said “we are all with Paris today.” Sadiq Khan, the mayor of London, also expressed solidarity. “Heartbreaking scenes of Notre Dame cathedral in flames. London stands in sorrow with Paris today, and in friendship always,” Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said, “Absolutely heartbreaking to see the Notre-Dame Cathedral in flames.” Former U.S. president Barack Obama said, “Notre Dame is one of the world’s great treasures, and we’re thinking of the people of France in your time of grief. It’s in our nature to mourn when we see history lost – but it’s also in our nature to rebuild for tomorrow, as strong as we can.” The Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez tweeted, calling the fire at Notre Dame a “catastrophe for France and for Europe. The flames have ravaged 850 years of history, architecture, painting and sculpture. This is going to be hard to forget.” The Greek prime minister, Alexis Tsipras, remarked “Deeply saddened by the news of the fire at Notre Dame. It is not only a national disaster for France, but also a serious loss for the world’s cultural heritage.” One of the strongest of them all was Jesuit Jean-Claude Juncker, “I am following minute by minute the fire that is preying on Notre Dame. Our Lady of Paris belongs to the whole of mankind,” wrote the EU Commission President. “What a sad spectacle. What a horror. I share the emotion of the French nation which is also ours.”

THE MERCHANTS SHALL WEEP

“And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more.” (Revelation 18:9-11) Said some of these merchants, which are but a portending of still greater judgment to come, “It is like losing a member of one’s own family,” said Pierre Guillaume Bonnet, a 45-year-old marketing director. “For me there are so many memories tied up in it,” he said of the cathedral. Mohamed Megdoul, 33, a film producer, brushed away tears and said the fire had destroyed, “a thousand years of history.” Older Parisians began to cry, lamenting how their national treasure was quickly being lost. Then the crowd gasped and cried in horror as the spire’s horn fell from the peak of the cathedral into ashes. “It is indeed one of the most incredibly beautiful and important medieval cathedrals in the world,” Yaron Yarimi, a New York-based travel agent and Paris expert, said an email to CNN. “It is also among the five most requested sites to be visited when we organize travel to Paris for our clients.” Yarimi said he was saddened by the fire. “What a tragedy unfolding right in front of our own eyes!”

THE CALL TO BE SEPARATE

Also, who can forget the recent call for reconciliation by France’s president Emmanuel Macron, who called for the wounds separating church and state to be healed? Macron had effectually undermined the secularism that had prevailed in France for two centuries to make broad overtures to the Catholic church. For this cause, Pope Francis gave him a medallion of France’s Martin of Tours, the same saint which Clovis king of France called upon when he dedicated France to Catholicism in 507-508ad, crushing the non-trinitarian, sabbatarian Visigoths in the Battle of Vouille in the name of the church. This battle led to the mass exodus of the people of God, the Albigenses, out of the cities of France, and into the mountains to maintain the observance of the true faith.

Should this time be any different? No. While one class is calling for separation to end, another class shall make definite separation more evident by the command of Revelation. Revelation’s eighteenth chapter depicts these very things, and shows what this event signifies (Let him that hath an ear understand). “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.” (Revelation 18:4-5) This is not the final judgment, but it is the commencement of judgments; it is the mercy call before the bells cease to plead for time any longer. “Come out of her My people” saith the Lord, “that ye partake not of her sins”; why should ye fall in her ruin, and be brought to destruction in her defiance of heaven? This is the call to those who discern it to leave the Catholic church forever. Never has a line of prophecy been so clearly laid out as to declare this call for our time. “Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD’S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence. Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD’S hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.” (Jeremiah 51:6-7)

THE BELLS OF PROBATION

“There’s a risk that the great bells fall. If the bells fall, it’s the tower that collapses. There are firefighters inside and outside. The next hour and a half will be crucial,” Jean-Claude Gallet, commander general of the Paris Fire Brigade, told reporters on the scene. The most efficient action is from the inside. We are not sure if we will be able to stop the spreading of the flames to the North Tower,” he said. The bells are an interesting symbolism, as they depict the intercession of the high priest in the Sanctuary. On the hems of his garments is a bell, representing that he is still making intercession and pleading on the great day of atonement for the people; that his hand is stretched out still before the God of mercy and justice, pleading the blood of the atonement for His people. Yet it was a fearful thing when the bells were no longer heard from the Most Holy place; for it meant the cessation of the intercession of the priest. Likewise, in the heavenly sanctuary, Christ will lay off His royal robes, and the bells of probation will cease to ring. Mercy will plead, but the cup of iniquity is rapidly measuring up to it’s brim, filling up towards heaven, and great prophetic events, strong and decisive are being made. The events at Notre Dame are but the forecast of the beginning of these fiery judgments on Babylon; employing all the symbolism of the Revelator’s prophecy perfectly. Why delay? Flee the fallen churches and flee the cities, lest you fall in the general ruin which is to come.

  1. You mention the atheistic beast from the bottomless pit who at the French Revolution was completing the work that Babylon had begun. This same scarlet colored beast will be used by the mother of harlots again as she rides out of the wilderness on atheistic communism [the beast from the bottomless pit] to influence the communistic USA to force the mark of the beast on all the of the nations of the world. By that time every nation of the world will have socialistic communism as their form of government. They will just call it something else. that is why the beast “was and is not and yet is”.
But it will turn out as the rhyme says:

“There once was a lady from Niger,
Who smiled as she rode on a tiger.
They came back from their ride
    With the lady inside,
And the smile on the face of the tiger.”

“They will eat her flesh. . . For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will.”
