The Dragon, the United Nations, & the New World Order

ALL NATIONS IN THE LAST DAYS

In the last days, we are told of a great conflict between a union of all nations, who are standing under the banner of Satan, who is the great dragon of Bible prophecy, and the people of God. In this article, we will examine how the United Nations role in world affairs is a hallmark sign of Bible prophecy being fulfilled before our eyes.

ALL NATIONS BLESSED THROUGH THE SEED

To be able to do this, we have to show briefly the relationship between the people of God and the nations of the earth. We are told that in Abraham’s seed “all nations would be blessed”. Let’s identify who Abraham’s seed is? “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.” (Gal. 3:16) Here it tells us that Christ is Abraham’s seed, by whom all nations are blessed. But then we are told in Galatians 3:19, “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Those who abide in Christ, Abraham’s seed, are counted with Christ as Abraham’s seed. Thus it is through the church also, who is faithfully in Christ, that all nations are blessed.
And we are told that this blessing is secured because of obedience to God’s commandments. (Gen. 26:5-6) In fact, every blessing that comes to mankind is through Christ, and for the purpose of His church that they may fulfill it’s mission. So strong and firm is this blessing to all nations through the church, that it is written: “Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.” (Gal. 3:29)
When the church loses it’s connection to Christ through transgression of the law, the nations suffer also, and righteousness is left off from the earth. So it was in the time of Babylon’s empirical reign over the earth. Jerusalem’s rebellion left a telling mark on the nations, and they failed to be the influence and the light they were called to be. Instead, they conformed to the wicked nations around them, and corrupted themselves. Thus it was that Babylon, for the wickedness of those nations, overthrew wicked Jerusalem and the nations of the earth, and they came under the dominion of Babylon. The righteous remnant in Jerusalem came into Babylon, and were able to influence kings, magicians, and nobles to the side of righteousness. Thus, in part, the blessing was to be restored on the earth.

THE KINGDOM OF THE DRAGON

Now to understand the United Nations, and how it will play it’s necessary role on the earth, we must understand the kingdom of the dragon in Bible prophecy.
When we identify the “dragon”, we see it formally introduced to us in Revelation chapter 12. “And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.” (Revelation 12:3)
Then in verse nine, we are told “the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world…” So it refers to Satan himself, also that old serpent. Satan’s eagerness to receive homage, led him to utilize the serpent in Genesis 3 to lead our first parents into rebellion, and to seize the kingdom of the earth.
Thus when we see the dragon, which has seven heads and ten horns, it describes the work of Satan primarily, but it is symbolizing his kingdom. And this is fitting, as it deals primarily with a beast figure, which in Bible prophecy denotes a king and kingdom (See Daniel 7:23).
In this chapter, we are further introduced to a woman “being with child, cried travailing in birth”, symbolic of “the heavenly Jerusalem”, “the church of the Firstborn” who “is the mother of us all” (See Hebrews 12:22,23; Galatians 4:26). The Child she gives birth to is He is “to rule all nations with a rod of iron.” This is none other than the Messiah, who the church was preparing 4000 years for His appearing.
Now, when the dragon is introduced to us, we are told “the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.” (Revelation 12:4)
There can be no mistaking that this is a reference to the circumstances of Christ’s birth. Satan had attempted to destroy Christ at His birth through king Herod who was reigning in Jerusalem by the institution of Tiberius Caesar (Matt. 2:3-16). Thus, Herod symbolized Rome, but Rome is symbolized by the dragon beast.
But then the dragon beast shifts into persecuting the woman, signifying Israel’s holy city of Jerusalem. “And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.” (Revelation 12:13-14)
The Scripture tells us she would flee into the wilderness for a time, times, and a half of time, which is equated to three and a half Hebrew years, or 1260 days (360+720+180=1260). However, in Bible Prophecy, we must always account for the fact that in the visions and similitudes of the prophets, days are regarded as years. (Ezekiel 4:6, Hosea 12:10). Therefore the church was sheltered in the wilderness against persecution for 1260 years.
A second witness to this persecution is found in Revelation 11:1: “But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months (42×30=1260).” (Revelation 11:2)
Now, it is obvious that it was pagan Rome symbolized by the dragon in Revelation 12 during the persecution of the woman as she was ready to give birth. But afterwards, the dragon is counted as a persecutor of the church for 1260 years. Satan accomplished this through Papal Rome. Satan worked through the Roman emperors, offering the paganized Christian churches in Rome all the kingdoms of the earth if they would dishonor God by trampling the law of God underfoot (Rom. 2:23). Christ met with a similar temptation by Satan (Matt. 4:9), but where Satan overcame, a large class of the professed church failed. Thus did the Papacy to gain the Roman Empire. This was to fulfill the Scripture of the beast in Revelation 13, which symbolizes the Papacy, “and the dragon gave him his seat, power, and great authority.” (v.2) The church that kept the commandments of God  in allegiance to the kingdom of God were persecuted by the fallen church that had united with the Roman state power. We are told that this was a time where great curses and ignorance plagued the land; pestilence, famine, disease and disaster, and unparalleled ignorance of the Scriptures prevailed. Thus it is when the church is in rebellion to God, and the nations are  in corrupt union with her. Thus both the nations of the earth and the church are under a great curse; such is ever the end result of the kingdom of the dragon.
Thus we may readily see how the dragon symbolizes whatever kingdoms fulfill his designs on the earth. Satan and his angels work through various agencies to further the ends of their kingdom.

THE UNITED NATIONS AND THE DRAGON

While the Roman Empire of Pagan and Papal Rome were unitedly enlisted under the kingdom of Satan, we want to definitely substantiate that the dragon will prophetically utilize the United Nations for it’s own ends. To accomplish this, we must examine Revelation 17 and compare it with Revelation 12.
As mentioned earlier, Revelation 12 depicts the great red dragon having seven heads, and ten horns. Certainly Satan himself does not have seven heads and ten horns; nor is he literally a dragon. Symbols are here employed to declare certain truths that are given for us to understand the nature of his kingdom. Revelation 17 shows a strikingly similar scarlet beast, red in color, having seven heads, and ten horns, which the harlot woman has her seat upon. “So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast…having seven heads and ten horns.” (Revelation 17:3)
The woman, like the beast of Revelation 13, receives it’s seat from the same dragon power, because the beast of Revelation 13 and the harlot woman are one-in-the-same identity.
We know she is sitting enthroned upon the dragon; thus signifying her dominion in the affairs of the world’s kingdoms. She is declared guilty of committing fornication with the kings of the earth in an unlawful church and state union.
We are further given a point of reference for when this prophecy was being viewed. John the apostle is viewing the scene from the time of “the judgment of the great whore” (Rev. 17:1-3); so when does that judgment take place? In other articles, we saw that the Papal kingdom continued for 1260 years, expiring in 1798, but it would be restored to power just before the end of days. It must necessarily take place after 1798, and especially after 1844, which is the hour of God’s judgment; where a final reckoning of nations is made in heaven where judgments will be meted out before they are executed, similar to Sodom and Gomorrah (Gen. 18:20-21). Therefore, John is shown a scene of the judgments to be dealt out to the harlot for all of her wickedness and abominations with which she made man to sin.
Thus being after 1844, we have a point of reference in time for the vision to come to pass. This is critical, because we must identify the United Nations. If we fail to understand that this vision is signifying the end scenes, the United Nations satanic role in Bible prophecy shall be hidden from our eyes.

THE SEVEN HEADS OF THE DRAGON

We are told of the seven heads that they signify seven kings. “And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.” (Revelation 17:10)
Here it is obvious by a plain reading that the seven kings are successive kings, representing their kingdom. There are seven in total and from 1798-1844 five have fallen. And one that “is” must come exist after this time. And one that “is not yet come”.
What kingdom “is”, and what “is not yet come” by this time? And what five kingdoms had “fallen” by 1844? We may enumerate them as follows backwards from 1844:

5) Papal Rome- 1798AD
4) Pagan Rome 538AD
3) Greece 168AD
2) Medo-Persia 331AD
1) Babylonia 536AD

These five had fallen. The first was Babylon, to the fifth which was Papal Rome. These kingdoms were the worst aggressors against the people of God, and ruled with a worldwide dominion as superpowers. But the next kingdom in Bible Prophecy was the United States. When the United States begins to exalt the law of the Papacy, you can be assured that the seat of the Papacy, via her children apostate Protestantism and her traditions of Sunday observance, have given her the ascendency in the earth once more. Thus number 6, the “one” that “is”, is the United States.
But to come to the judgment of the great whore, we are told that the dragon’s seventh head would be a kingdom “which is not yet come.”
After America. What is this kingdom? The Scripture tells us.
“And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.” (Revelation 17:12) These are “ten kings” which have not received a kingdom, but will with “the beast”. This “beast” is not the Papal beast, as some suppose; although “the beast” not independent of the harlot woman, in this portion of John’s vision, the Papacy is represented as a woman, and not a beast. The beast is the dragon. Thus, the one who is not yet come, symbolized by ten kings, will reign one hour with the dragon; not as a separate power apart from the dragon, but it will be the very kingdom of the dragon, being the seventh head of that beast.
What more can we say about these kings? The Scripture tells us: “These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.” (Revelation 17:13) Notice they have one mind. They are united. Thus they are united kings; a united kingdom of many different kings. This is the United Nations.

THE AGENDA OF THE UNITED NATIONS: A NEW WORLD ORDER

In a poetic preamble of the draft of the World Constitution of the United Nations, it said “The age of nations must end and the era of humanity begin. The governments of nations have decided to order their separate sovereignties into one government to which they will surrender their arms.” The governments must come together to become “one government” was the introduction to the world of the United Nations organization. It’s U.N. Charter goals are outlined to “unite our strength to maintain international peace and security, and to ensure, by the acceptance of principles and the institution of methods, that armed force shall not be used, save in the common interest…”
It is important to note that the United Nations as an organization has no power except what the consent of the nations worldwide unitedly consent to. Thus it is the seventh, but it has received “no kingdom as yet”; but now, over 190 nations across the world have joined the United Nations; therefore it is well on it’s way to establishing a one-world government; and it already has an one-world, global court in place to enforce international law across the various nations.
Yet a change took place in 2015. On September 25th, the United Nations launched a set of 17 goals that it plans to achieve over the next 15 years. The formal name of this new plan is “the 2030 Agenda”, and the U.N. has stated that these new “global goals” represent a “new universal Agenda” for humanity. Virtually every nation on the planet has willingly signed on to this new agenda, and you are expected to participate whether you like it or not.
Leading out among the nations was Pope Francis, who said that “the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at the World Summit…is an important sign of hope.” He then spoke of the necessary implementation of international law and the enforcement of those laws for a sustainable world both socially and economically. He stressed the importance of peace, but it is important to mention that this is the seat of the Pope is that of which it is spoken that he “by peace shall destroy many”. (1 Thes. 5:3)

PEACE AND SAFETY: A NEW WORLD ORDER

The first article of the U.N. Charter states it’s aim as follows: “To maintain international peace and security, and to that end: to take effective collective measures for the prevention and removal of threats to the peace, and for the suppression of acts of aggression or other breaches of the peace…” It is the purpose to bring unified worldwide apostasy from the law of God into legislation to make war against the people of God.
Scripture tells us that Satan is unifying the kings of the earth together through the United Nations to this very end, and to usher in his reign: “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty…And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.”(Revelation 16:13-16)

“It is this system that regulates state actions under international law.” The United Nations claims. It is Satan’s purpose to bring the mark of the beast crisis throughout the entire world, and the United Nations shall ratify the decision that all who should not worship according to the multitude should finally be put to death.
“We have before us the opportunity to forge for ourselves and for future generations a new world order, a world where the rule of law, not the rule of the jungle, governs the conduct of nations. When we are successful, and we will be, we have a real chance at this new world order, an order in which a credible United Nations can use its peacekeeping role to fulfill the promise and vision of the U.N.’s founders.” (George Bush Sr., Address to the United Nations, January 17th, 1991) “What is at stake is more than one small country; it is a big idea: a new world order, where diverse nations are drawn together in common cause to achieve the universal aspirations of mankind — peace and security…” (George Bush, Address to the United States Congress, Sept. 11, 1990)
The New World Order, “peace and security”. But Scripture tells us that this would be exactly what is pushed in the last days. “For when they shall say, Peace and security; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” (1 Thessalonians 5:3)
Thus the gathering of the nations together to make war against the people of God is a sign of sudden destruction.
It is also spoken about in Zephaniah in this manner: “Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.” (Zephaniah 3:8) And again, “I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.” (Joel 3:2)
All nations are to be gathered when there is a rising up of the heavenly King. When Christ stands to take the kingdom under the whole heavens, probation shall be closed. But all the nations must be assembled together in rebellion that all nations might be condemned together. And so it is with the ten kings: “These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.” (Revelation 17:14)

THE EIGHTH OF THE SEVEN: THE APPEARANCE OF LUCIFER

We are told something else characteristic about this seven-headed dragon. That in the time of the seventh kingdom, the United Nations, that the beast himself, the dragon who is represented by all of these heads, shall manifest himself in the time of the seventh kingdom particularly. “And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.” (Revelation 17:11)
It is Lucifer that is of the seven, because they were represented by him as the great world empires he seized power over. The United Nations is the New World Order which will bring in the apostate reign of Lucifer masquerading as Christ. That has been the design of the United Nations for as long as it has been around. It was a globalist agenda to unite the world under the worship of Satan as a new-age messiah. The United Nations is the kingdom where spiritualism is expressed most definitely: the religion of the dragon. Yet the Papacy having a prominent role in the leading out of the United Nations agenda shows that Satan will appear as a Roman-Catholic affirming new-age Christ. And the Protestants of America having united with the Papal apostasy will find themselves ensnared in a controversy the nature of which they were blind to until it was too late.
The United Nations are steeped in their involvement with Satan and spiritualistic influences. Many are knowingly preparing for the appearance of Satan and his angelic host as angels of light. Alice Bailey, founder of Lucis Trust, is one such medium for a spirit which claims to belong to a heirarchy of “ascended masters” which have promsied to appear on the earth when humanity has been prepared to receive them. She also spoke openly about the emergence of a coming world teacher who she claimed would be the Christ of the new age. Before that takes place, she claimed that the United Nations was necessary to bring a unity to the world for the event.
“Evidence of the growth of the human intellect along the needed receptive lines [for the preparation of the New Age] can be seen in the “planning” of various nations and in the efforts of the United Nations to formulate a world plan…From the very start of this unfoldment, three occult factors have governed the development of all these plans…Within the United Nations is the germ and seed of a great international and meditating, reflective group—a group of thinking and informed men and women in whose hands lies the destiny of humanity.” Discipleship in the New Age volume 2, p. 35, 222
Alice Bailey is clearly saying that the United Nations has in the heart of it a meditation group under the control of Satanic spirits, and that they are a central force in the U.N.
In the early 1950’s, the second Secretary-General of the U.N., Dag Hammarskjöld, confirmed this, saying there was only a small room for prayer and meditation, but that he would enlarge the room, supported by the multifaith “Friends of the U.N. Meditation Room” group. It was said that “Hammarskjöld personally planned and supervised in every detail the creation of the ‘Meditation Room,””
Journalist Pauline Frederick wrote that the Secretary-General “had a very close feeling about the spiritual. And he felt that it should be the center of the United Nations.” (Norman Ho, Interview with Pauline Frederick, UN Department of Oral History, June 1986) This meditation room is shaped as a pyramid without the capstone. Inside, the room is dimly lit, but coming from the ceiling is a narrow but concentrated pinpoint beam of light which radiates down to a plain stone altar. In his note to visitors of the Meditation Room, Hammarskjöld wrote: “But the stone in the middle of the room has more to tell us. We may see it as an altar, empty not because there is no God, not because it is an altar to an unknown god, but because it is dedicated to the God whom man worships under many names and in many forms.”
There is only one true God; and this is the God of the Scriptures. He is not the god of many ways of salvation, and of many names. He is not associated with the man-made traditions of various religions; and has nothing to do with the worship of nature in any of it’s forms. And there is one Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ.It is not Krishna, Maitreya, the Imam Mahdi, or any other religious messianic figurehead. “For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”
(1 Corinthians 8:5-6)

Of Satan appearing as Christ, and his angels masquerading as apostles, as well as those who have long since gone to the grave, Bailey stated:
“These methods of overshadowing will largely be the ones used by the Great Lord and his Masters at the end of the century…In fifty years time, the need for true psychics and conscious medium will be very great if the Masters’ plans are to be carried through to fruition, and the movement must be set on foot in preparation for the coming of Him for Whom all nations wait.” A Treatise on Cosmic Fire, pp. 757-758
The United Nations is not a Christian organization, but one founded upon principles of Satanic origin. From the U.N., the highest earthly authority, a death decree shall be issued upon the commandment-keeping people of God, thus making war against the Lamb of God when He stands up to be King of kings and Lord of lords, against the people of God. “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.”(Daniel 12:1)

At that time “the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee…” (Deuteronomy 30:3-4) “Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it. For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter…For it is the day of the LORD’S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.” (Isaiah 34:1-2)
