“And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown…” (Daniel 11:40-41)
The time of the end is the passing of time after 1798 AD. Through the working of the French revolution birthing the concept of atheism, and it’s hellish powers becoming strengthened in the world through Darwin’s theory of evolution and Marxist ideologies from 1844 onward, the Papal influence over the world was subdued. Athiestic France, also “spiritually called Egypt”, was the king of the south which pushed at the Papal supremacy over the nations. Yet the Papacy, the king of the north, would return to overflow the countries to re-establish it’s power base in “all the world”.
There are several kings of the north in the Scriptures. Jeroboam was the first king of the north tribes over Israel in a long succession of northern kings. He set up a counterfeit priesthood, embraced an ancient egyptian sun-worshipping festival in the eighth month, and established the worship of the pagan Egyptian golden apis bull in Israel. Another was the king of Assyria and of Babylon, which both resided north of Jerusalem anciently, and ruled oppressively over the professed people of God. Then, the final king of the north was the kings of Persia. The very first king that ruled over God’s people issued a death sentence interposing between Daniel and the worship of the his God. All of these dark characteristics, however, are blended into the Papal-Catholic king, the Pope.
The Pope lost his power over the nations, but through diplomatic relations with other states, with it’s Papal diplomats and establishing their embassies in other countries via the Lateran treaties, he, the king of the North, has entered into the countries. This began in 1929, when the Vatican became recognized as a state. By 1959, it established relationships with 24 countries. Thirty-six years later, in 1985, it was 53 countries. And in our present year of 2018, that number has surpassed 175 countries. But what is the significance of the Papal state having diplomatic ties with these countries? According to Archbishop Hyginus Eugene Cardinale, a former Vatican diplomat who wrote an authoritative work on the Vatican and international relations, the Vatican itself “exists and operates within the international community as the juridical personification of the Church.” What does this mean? It means that wherever the Pope comes as a governor of a country, he is truly coming as the ecclesiastical ambassador of an apostate church.
The Glorious Land
“He shall enter also into the glorious land…” which refers to the United States of America (for more details, click here). Some here declare that the glorious land is Jerusalem, however, when we mark how God dealt with His people in leading them into the western shores, the parallels to His working to establishing His people anciently in Palestine are striking.
1) The tribes came out of Egypt- the land of oppression. Likewise, the Protestants came out of Papal Europe, which was likewise, a land of oppression.
2) The tribes came into a new land- the promised land of milk and honey- “the glory of all lands”. The Protestants came into America, a land of great prosperity and power.
3) The tribes were not to oppress the stranger and heathen in the land of their inheritance, because they knew what oppression was like while dwelling in Egypt (Exodus 23:9). Likewise, because the founding fathers had come out of dark oppression, the Constitution was drafted and signed that they should not oppress the stranger and heathen, but rather establish a haven for conscience and liberty for all.
However, when the king of the north enters into the glorious land, it is a sure sign to us that the end of all things is at hand; the king of the north will regain the ascendancy, even in the Protestant Republic of America, which had once protested priestly intolerance and kingly oppression. This would be the sign that the days of protesting priestly intolerance and kingly oppression were at an end; that the glory of all lands, the United States, ceased to be a haven to protect the truths of God.
The Sign Fulfilled
We are told that the Papal king of the north would “like a whirlwind” into the glorious land of United States. This was fulfilled in a marked manner on September 23rd, 2015. Upon the evening of the 23rd, extending through the 24th, signaled the Day of Atonement upon the divine calendar. It was upon this day that the Papal power, representing the “juridical personification of the church”, stood before the legislative branch of the United States in a joint-session of both the Senate and Congress in the House of Representatives. Met with thundering applause and a standing ovation, his address extended throughout the United States, being covered in nearly every news network worldwide.

As this was headlined for this great Day of Judgment, it was stated that it was the Pope’s “whirlwind” tour. We regard this as a striking fulfillment of the prophecy here spoken of, and that we should note this great event with care. Here are all of the headlines we know of that speak of it as such.

These samples are only a few of many articles published by well-known news networks, but it is sufficient to demonstrate that prophecy is indeed being fulfilled and that 2015 of September 24th, was a signal event for the Papal king of the north and his entry into the glorious land which prophecy students should take care not to lose sight of. This is an impending sign just before the return of Christ.
While apparently Christian, the Papacy is calculated to overthrow the faith of many under the profession of Christianity, whilst clothing many pagan idols and practices with a Christian veneer. It is time to get right with Christ, and to seek the Lord while He may be found. For soon the decree shall go forth, “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.” (Rev. 22:11) Even so, come Lord Jesus.
